Why isn't a private notebook enough?
Wordseal is a social witnessing app: the people you trust know what was agreed. Notes, messages, memory: all one-sided. In Wordseal the record belongs to both of you. It doesn't start until the other person confirms; once confirmed, it is sealed. No more "that's not what I said": you both look at the same record.
How does it work?
- Write it.Who, how much, when. Any currency, or gold.
- Get it confirmed.Send the link on WhatsApp or share the short code. The other person sees it and confirms; the record is sealed.
- Add a witness.If you like, invite someone you both know. The witness sees the record and is told when it is paid.
When money moves, the borrower taps "I paid", the lender taps "I got it". When everything is paid, the record closes.

A witness is a trusted person who can see the record and hears when it is paid. Their job is memory. Witnessing is free and works from the link, without the app.

Partial payments and installments
Record part of the amount as it is paid; the balance is always visible. Installment plans come with a reminder for each one.

Inviting, confirming, witnessing and marking payments are always free. On the free plan you can start a limited number of open records at a time. Premium allows up to 200 open records at a time and adds installment plans, up to 10 witnesses per record and no ads. Details and the price are in the store.
Common questions
What if the other person doesn't have the app?
They just tap the link. They see the record in the browser and confirm with their own account; no download needed.
What does a witness do?
They see the record and get notified when it is paid. Their only job is to remember what you both agreed.
How do I pay?
You pay the way you always do; in the app you only mark "I paid" and "I got it".
Who can start a record?
Either of you. The borrower or the lender can write it; it starts when the other confirms.
